surprisingly elf has a pretty good gel liner! and for 3 bucks its good ive been using it for about a month now.

I’ve used the clinique liner and it hasn’t dried out in over a year..still going strong. Loves.

i love gel eyeliner. the only one i’ve ever used was mac’s fluidline in blacktrack. with the same mac angled brush as you. i hate pencil. liquid is alright but… it’s streaky if your eyes get watery..

I love Stila Smudepot in black and I generally hate drugstore gel liners but the Physician’s Formula ones are nice- they come in three colors too.

TARTE has a gel liner in a pencil! they’re awesome, have a cooling effect when going on, don’t need a brush, and they really are a gel, I think you would really like them 

I have always used and loved liquid eyeliners.
I got 2 Bobbi Brown Gel Liners a while back and I am unable to get a nice defined line with them. I think they might have been too dry already when I got them at the store, but I don’t know. The lady who applied them on me in the store didn’t make a clear-cut line either, it was very smudgy. But from youtube I always had the impression that you really can make a line with a gel eye liner that is as defined as the one you make with a liquid one.

I learned a great trick for my MAC 208 brush through trial and error. Instead of washing the brush each time you use it, just wipe the brush off on a tissue. Then, before you dip the brush into the gel liner, wipe the brush on a tissue to soften the bristles a bit. This will enable you to use the brush longer without having to wash it so much.

I haven’t found a nice gel liner yet, all that i’ve tried usually wipes off pretty easy or it gets in my crease after a while and then it feels sticky and tacky. I prefer liquid on the top and pencil on the bottom. Hard candy makes a nice black liquid eyeliner.

sigma 209 is fool proof brush! and i’ve been liking mac and bare escentuals ‘buxom’ brand makes a pretty good one!
